#6 "DETOX"

totals:

lu: 248
lo: 261

this was a highly disappointing attempt at an "infinite jest" themed game. for this game, any words, names, or acronyms associated with the novel got ten points added to the total tally. the only words spelled were: "ORIN," "ETA," "DETOX," and "LOB." unsatisfying.

lo' discovered the fine word "EQUID" (a member of the horse family) and also spelled the word "ANVIL," heartbreakingly close to the infinite jest-related "AVRIL."

Hey,

This is Nick (Dan Brigg's brother). He said I would enjoy your blog and I must say it's very cool. While at UVM, I joined the Burlington NSA Scrabble Club and learned a great deal from many of the state's best players. I'm not as hardcore as I used to be but still like to get the tiles out every now and again. I play online so perhaps we could play a game, shoot me a Facebook message if interested!

I like to play the word "Haji," it's one of those great words in Scrabble. Also "Faqir" is a fun word as well.
